DESCRIPTION OF THE SCHOLARSHIP: ESSAY 

One $200 scholarship each for one female and one male applicant to attend Len Duong Camp.

Application Requirements

  • Dr. Ngoc-Anh Nguyen to award one $200 scholarship to one female applicant

  • Mr. Huy Pham, Esq. to award one $200 scholarship to one male applicant

In order to be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must: 

  • be 18 years of age or older by May 2023

  • register,  pay, and attend Len Duong Camp 2023 to accept the award

  • be a Vietnamese-American university/college student

  • Complete and submit the Scholarship Application Form

    • ​click here if you don't know how to download the form

  • Submit 2 portrait pictures to be used in LD camp booklet should you be selected for a scholarship (jpeg or png)

  • Read and follow the guidelines for writing and submitting your essay

  • Submit an essay answering the prompt: “Why do you care about learning more about the Vietnamese culture? Do you consider yourself Vietnamese or American and why?” 

  • Submit a CV

Award

Upon completing all the application requirements, submit all documents as individual attachments in one (1) email to lenduongcamp@vcsa.org with subject heading: “Your Name – LDC2023 Nguyen-Pham Scholarship.”

Dr. Ngoc-Anh Nguyen and Mr. Huy Pham, Esq. to select winners.

  • $200 USD. This is a scholarship presented at Len Duong Camp and will be paid directly to an individual winner.
