Optometrist/Entrepreneur
Dr. Boon Tran graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry where he earned his Doctorate in Optometry. Dr. Tran was also the Geometrical Optics and Ophthalmics Procedures Instructor for the Texas Optometry Career Opportunities Program (TEXOCOP). He was beloved among students and recognized with the "Most Outstanding Professor" award both years he taught.
Dr. Boon Tran is an optometrist by day and a passionate businessman by night. He’s the owner of Omni Vision, Dr. Banh Mi, and Big Hops Craft Beers. One of the reasons for the existence of Dr Banh Mi is to raise our Vietnamese culture awareness in San Antonio, TX and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Tran was born in Vietnam and grew up in Houston, Texas. He just recently moved to San Antonio, Texas. His hobbies include fishing, volunteering, spending time with loved ones and creating television shows. Dr. Tran is the creator, producer, and host of several Vietnamese reality programs. He is also an active member of the Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
Suzan Nguyen

Suzan Nguyen is a Life Coach helping people overcome adversity, TEDx speaker, and author of ‘One Arm But Not Unarmed’. At the age of 22, Suzan experienced a life-altering event after a traumatic car accident which resulted in the loss of her right arm. After experiencing depression, hopelessness, and bitterness, Suzan re-learned how to live life and coach herself out of her dark place.
Suzan has completed coaching classes at Institute of Excellence in Professional Coaching and continues to stay educated about her passion- Positive Psychology. She has launched her own coaching practice by the name of BBnB Coaching. (be better, not bitter). Suzan is also certified in ‘Happiness’ and considers herself a Happiness Chief Encouragement Officer.
Suzan continues to spread her #bebetter message through her speaking engagements and by giving back to the community through volunteer efforts. She is the “Chief Happiness Encouragement Officer” for her company BBNB Coaching (be better, not bitter) and has helped thousands to overcome adversity.

President and CEO of LEAP (Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics), an organization she has led for the last 10 years. She is committed to developing Asian and Pacific Islanders leaders, and from the classroom to the boardroom, she actively advocates for inclusive pathways for diverse leaders.
Kenneth Nguyen
LA-based entrepreneur and Vietnamese Podcast host with over two decades of sales, marketing, distribution and brand building experience. Kenneth Nguyen served honorably as a former U.S. Marine (1993-97) and holds a BA degree from USC in Visual Anthropology (2000) with an emphasis in Cinema Studies.
Chloe Dao
Fashion designer and entrepreneur. She was catapulted to international fame after winning Project Runway Season 2 in 2006. Chloe has partnered with several businesses over the years, which includes Nuo Tech and QVC. She was also invited to design a special dress for the premiere of the award winning Crazy Rich Asians.
Ham Tran
a Vietnamese American film writer, editor, and director. Tran also directed the full-length Vietnamese boat people and re-education camp drama, Journey From the Fall, How To Fight in Six Inch Heels, Bitcoin Heist for Netflix, She's the Boss, Maika: The Girl From Another Galaxy...
