The Vietnamese Podcast with Kenneth Nguyen

Being a part of the Vietnamese culture of over 100 million people comes with plenty of history, privilege, honor, and not to mention painful challenges. Join Kenneth Nguyen as he spotlights Vietnamese experience from around the world! Each podcast episode explores the creative process of individuals shaping the diversity of what it means to be Vietnamese--as a local, born and raised, or as a third culture kid.

In this March podcast, Kenneth talks to Teresa Trinh (President of the Vietnamese Culture and Science Association) and Jaime Diep (Campmaster of Len Duong Camp 2023) about Len Duong Leadership and Cultural Camp.

Each year, Len Duong Camp provides approximately 250-300 young people the opportunity to develop and refine their leadership skills in a camp setting.Participants get exposed to the concepts, elements, and processes of leadership; learn to recognize group dynamics and understand their effects on the leadership process; and enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.

This year 2023, Len Duong Camp will be held from May 26 – 29, 2023 at the YMCA Camp Cullen in Trinity, Texas. Campers ages from 18 years and above are invited to attend, particularly those that are or aspire to be community activists or leaders. For the past 22+ years, we have helped over 5000 Vietnamese American & Canadian young leaders learn more about Vietnamese culture & become more committed to serving their local communities.
